Dragonball Z vs. Old Pokemon? Which was better?

I used to be a big fan of both when i was a kid. I started off watching Pokemon, but watched DBZ as well because it used to come on right before Pokemon every morning before school started on Kids WB. A year later, i became obsessed with DBZ and my Pokemon obsession sort of dwindled as i turned to DBZ. However, to this day i still prefer the Old Pokemon to Dragonball Z. Which one do you think was better?
