What happened to the CW television network?

The CW only seems to appeal to age groups of females from teenagers to young adult, they dropped every sitcom, sports program, wrestling, and reality show besides America's top model also dropping kids WB known for some of the most popular kids shows of the last 15 years. Now that smallville is over their prime time shows only consist of dramas like 90210, vampire diaries, gossip girl, and one tree hill very one dimensional for a prime time major network.
