USB Device Not Recognized?

Alright, so. For some reason when I turned on my laptop a little while ago, I started getting this annoying little notification saying "USB Device Not Recognized". It makes no sense! I didn't have anything plugged in except for my phone, and I removed it just like always. Is there any way I can make that irritating popup go away? I don't know much about computers...so help please? Haha.
