Can plastic welding glue be used as poppers?

i was at some party and was given some poppers and i recognised the smell of them from this pvc solvent weld adhesive. iv read that its alkyl nitrate that's in poppers but i cant find anywhere what is used in this glue stuff, so can someone gimme a hand with it.
